About Sacred Living 

Sacred Living was founded by Kathy Lerfald in 1998 to offer classic Christian spiritual direction. Since then it has expanded to include prayer education/ministries, spiritual formation, midlife review, and life coaching.

Kathy graduated from the University of Minnesota, Bethel Theological Seminary and has spent 25+ years in education, first in the public schools, then in church ministry, both professional and lay.

She has received additional training in spiritual direction from the Christos Center for Spiritual Formation in Lino Lakes, Minnesota and is a graduate of the Institute for Life Coaching Training (ILCT).

Kathy is a member of Spiritual Directors International, Christian Coaches Network, Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and the American Swedish Institute.

She is married to a nature enthusiast ... birds are his specialty. Kathy enjoys interior design, children's pictures books (especially alphabet books), her Scandinavian heritage (check out her website at www.SwedishChristmas.com) ... and she is captivated by old black and white photos.
